One sign of a potential roofing scam is when roofing companies in Chicago give you a “special” or “one-time only” offer. These companies are often in a hurry to get your money; why are they in such a rush? Maybe so they can take off with your cash or because they’re in financial trouble. Any good roofing company will stand by its quotes anytime. Likewise, be wary of any company that you’ve never heard of but that suddenly approaches you and others in your neighborhood offering roofing services, especially if your area has recently been affected by a storm or other severe weather.
