Assessing Estimates

When choosing roofing contractors, Chicago residents will typically go through the same process with each contractor. They will speak with the contractor to explain what kind of roofing job they need and to explore their options. Once they have decided on an exact roofing project, the contractor will then draw up an estimate for the client to look over and (hopefully) agree to. When you have several estimates sitting in front of you, it’s tempting to just go with the cheapest one, but don’t do that. Take a closer look at the estimates.

Every estimate should include, for example, a thorough breakdown of all of the materials to be used, the cost of those materials, and the cost of  the actual labor. When working with roofing contractors, Chicago homeowners deserve to know how their money will be used. You want to select a company, such as Champion Roofing, that spares no expense in choosing quality roofing materials but that doesn’t overcharge for labor so you still get a great deal.
